Welcome to the website of the Association of Biodanza Teachers in the United Kingdom

This is the homepage for the largest and longest established Association of Biodanza Teachers in the UK.

The Association and website are a resource both for members and the general public.  Within this site you can search for a Biodanza teacher in your local area.  They are guaranteed to have an internationally recognized teaching qualification from the International Biocentric Foundation (IBF).  We also list teachers under supervision - those at the final stage of a 3-4 year training to become teachers of Biodanza.

In addition to promoting Biodanza, the Association aims to foster communication amongst Biodanza teachers, students and schools, and maintain high standards of professional practice amongst our membership through our professional code of practice.

Some areas of the site are accessible by teacher members only.  If you want to know more about Biodanza, or have any comments or questions for us, please contact our Secretary, Joel Xhaard.  You are also very welcome to contact anyone listed on this site about classes or for more information about Biodanza.

What is Biodanza ?

Developed by anthropologist Rolando Toro, Biodanza uses dance, music and guided movement in the service of our human development.  The result is to bring more of ourselves to our life and relationships: to feel more healthy, joyful, open-hearted and confident.

Every person will find something different in Biodanza: classes can reduce stress, increase self-confidence, stimulate creativity, nurture our relationships... and much more!  Originating in Argentina, Biodanza is now enjoyed around the world - including being shown on BBC TV!
